Uplink: Fast or Gigabit Ethernet uplinks allow to connect COP products to service provider’s IP network. The transport uses either copper or fiberoptic connections
Service Link: Multiple copper based connections can be used to connect customer’s equipment such as traditional voice equipment, data switches, E1/T1 based GSM stations for wireless backhaul, or RS530, V.35 based equipment.
Remote management using standard-based SNMP or CLI or web GUI is available for both CPE stand-alone chassis, and in racks through CACC system controller.
1.Support various standard TDM tunneling technologies:
| Circuit Emulation Services over Packets (Draft – IETF)
| SATOP over Ethernet (Draft – IETF)
| TDM over IP (Draft – IETF)
| TDM over MPLS (ITU-T Y.1413/Y.1414)
| Further standards (from e.g MEF, ITU-T)
2.Support single (according to 802.1q) and double VLAN-tagging (transparent for customer‘s VLAN-tags)
3.Support QoS in different layers of the OSI layer model:
| VLAN priority field
| MPLS label
| IP – Type of Service (TOS) and/or Differentiated Services (DSCP)
4.Completely protocol transparent for TDM data streams
5.Outstanding clock recovery mechanism meeting the following standards: G.823 (E1), G.824 (T1), EN302 084 and EN300 462-3-1
6.Packet size configurable by changing the packetisation latency, e.g. @ 2.048kbps (unframed)
| 125µs, 250µs, 0.5ms and 1ms
| 32, 64, 128 and 256 (E1) bytes
